  • Lahra’s career has straddled the worlds of journalism and public relations. After working as a broadcast reporter for more than a decade, Lahra decamped to the ‘dark side’ of PR, designing and executing strategic communications programs for some of Australia’s leading companies and organisations.

    Her deep experience within both these worlds means Lahra understands exactly what the media is looking for, and knows how to coach her clients to get the best result from every media interview.

    Lahra is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Melbourne Press Club, the Public Relations Institute of Australia, Director of Foodbank Victoria and on the Carlton Board.

    Dean Allen-Craig is an Australian media veteran. With a career that spans more than three decades, Dean’s vast experience brings a unique insight into the workings of the media industry to provide practical advice and training.

    Having worked for 15 years as a senior reporter for Seven News, Dean has a breadth of knowledge of the inner workings of TV and video. His years working as an on-camera presenter means he is well equipt to teach executives how to use their voice and understand body language to effectively communicate during media interviews, presentations, and public meetings. Dean has also worked as a video production manager and has years of experience as a camera operator.

    Damon Kitney has spent almost three decades in financial journalism, including 16 years at the AFR and 12 years as Victorian business editor at The Australian. He specialises in writing the untold personal stories of the nation’s richest and most private people and now has his own writing and advisory business, DMK Publishing.  He has published three books – “The Price of Fortune:  The Untold Story of being James Packer; “The Inner Sanctum”, and “The Fortune Tellers”.


  • Cameron Baud is multi-award-winning and highly experienced senior journalist. He has reported across Australia and internationally during his career for more than 30 years.

    Cameron has covered a range of serious and dynamic situations from fugitive hunts, natural disasters and the most serious crimes.

    He has an intimate understanding of the changing news media landscape, and his extensive experience enables him to provide deep insight into the broadcast news gathering process.
