Lahra’s career has straddled the worlds of journalism and public relations. After working as a broadcast reporter for more than a decade, Lahra decamped to the ‘dark side’ of PR, designing and executing strategic communications programs for some of Australia’s leading companies and organisations.
Her deep experience within both these worlds means Lahra understands exactly what the media is looking for, and knows how to coach her clients to get the best result from every media interview.
Lahra is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Melbourne Press Club, the Public Relations Institute of Australia, and a Director of Foodbank Victoria.
Steve Carey is one of Australia’s most experienced TV News and Public Affairs executives.
During a career spanning 35 years, highlights include presenting ABC News, working as a foreign correspondent, Chief of Staff on the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Supervising Producer of Today Tonight and Director of News for 7 Melbourne.
Steve retains excellent relationships at every level of business, media, sport and politics.
Steve is a foundation judge of the Yooralla National Media Awards, a foundation judge of the Father Bob Maguire Foundation’s Angels of the Street Awards and is regularly heard as a guest media commentator on talk back radio.
